The work consists of sitework, concrete, and metalwork; installing Government-furnished 69-kV, 10.8 MVAR capacitor bank with 69-kV motor-operated interrupter and station service transformer; furnishing and installing combination fuse disconnecting switches/disconnecting switches with interrupters, surge arresters, grounding system, conduit, insulated conductors and cables, bus systems, substation signs, cable terminators, and buried insulated cable. The work also includes removing some electrical equipment and chain link fence. This is an unrestricted competition and all responsive offers will be considered. Solicitation will be available on or about May 15, 1995. The IFB and construction specs will be issued on double sided/high density DOS-formatted 3.5 inch floppy diskettes. The IFB and specs are formatted using WordPerfect 5.1. Drawings will be provided on hardcopy.
