Subject to internal approvals, the Virginia Contracting Activity in susport of the Department of Defense, Office of the Inspector General intends to procure the following ADP Hardware: 3 each, Synoptics lattisswitch workgroup concentrators, Part no. 28115; 2 each, Synoptics lattisswitch ethernet workgroup concentrators, Part no. 28015; 2 each, Synoptics 3000N Premises concentrators, Part No. 300N; 11 each, Premises concentrators multi-segment ethernet backplane for model 3000 Synoptics concentrator, Part no. 980-441; 12 each, Network management modules with basic management agent, Part no. 3313A-03; 3 each, Network Management modules with advance management agent, Part 6 each, Ethernet host modules, Part no. 3308A; 1 each, Network Management console package for DOS. Optivity for HP Openview/DOS latest version including required agents for advance network management modules, Part number, 636-03, and 1 each, Software maintenance for optivity for NMS or Openview/Windows, Part no. S6-02. The sole make and models specified are mandatory due to the need for standardization of operations. This is a notice of intent to procure, in accordance with Federal Information Resources Management Regulation (FIRMR) 201 39.501-3, through an existing GSA Contract and shall not be considered a request for quotations/proposals. Firms must indicate their interest within 15 days of the date of this synopsis. Non-GSA firms will also be considered, but only if responding with clear and convincing documentation that it is more advantageous to consider non-schedule offers. Pricing data should be included along with a current GSA contract number, if applicable. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to schedule vendors and all firms that responded to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation.
