A -- A -- F/A-18 JDAM EMD PHASE II FLIGHT TEST PROGRAM SOL N00019-94-G-0291 POC Contact, Steve Frate, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-94-G-0291 for engineering effort required for the F/A-18 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) EMD Phase II Flight Test Program. This effort will include flight test planning, engineering, instrumentation, testing, data collection, and analysis culmination with flight clearance and certification of the JDAM on the F/A-18 aircraft. NAVAIR intends to negotiate this with McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the F/A-18 aircraft, and as such, the only firm possessing the technical knowledge and expertise, facilitites and unique aircraft data bases necessary to perform the effort within the required timeframe.
