R -- PROGRAM SUPPORT FOR EPA'S ENERGY STAR BUILDINGS PROGRAM SOL W500337A4 POC Contact Point, Elizabeth Roberts, (202)260-2243, Contracting Officer, Elizabeth Roberts, (202)260-2243 The purpose of this synopsis is to readvertise the requirement for Program Support to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) ENERGY STAR Buildings Program and notify prospective offerors that the procurement will be conducted via EPA's Public Access Server. Work assignments expected to be performed include: (1) Providing assistance to program participants in surveying buildings, (2) Identifying cost-effective technical options to reduce energy consumption and demand, and phase out CFCs, (3) Providing technical, managerial, and financial guidance during building upgrades, (4) Developing system/equipment specifications for new technologies and (5) Identifying financial information and resources to maximize energy savings at the lowest cost. EPA anticipates the award of a cost-reimbursable contract for a total of 495,000 hours over a base period plus four one-year option periods. This requirement was originally synopsed in the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) on March 29, 1994 under solicitation number D400211M1. The new solicitation number is W500337A4. Vendors who responded to the original CBD notice will remain on the bidder's mailing list. New firms are encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation electronically using Internet address ROBERTS.ELIZABETH@EPAMAIL.EPA.GOV. The solicitation and all associated documents will be accessible via the Internet through EPA's Public Access Server.
