Pool tank shall be drained and existing tank surfaces shall receive new PVC liner membrane assembly; Paint natatorium. All interior walls, doors, ceilings, structural, mechanical, and electrical items which are presently painted shall be surface prepped and repainted; Repair acoustical panels. All existing acoustical panels shall be removed from the natatorium walls. Existing vinyl fabric covers shall be removed and replaced with new fabric covers. Panels shall be reinstalled on existing hangers; Repair and clean pool deck tile. Replace cracked and missing ceramic floor tile to match existing. Clean existing floor tile to remove surface film and stains. Score or cut out all existing grout and regrout all pool deck tile. Remove all debris and clean tile and surrounding surfaces of all dust generated by regrouting activities; Replace pool filters. Remove existing filters and associated piping and install new filtration equipment and associated appurtenances; Chlorine injection system. Clean and calibrate; Other work necessary to accomplish the above. Completion time: 370 calendar days. The proposed procurement listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Small disadvantaged business concern means a small business concern that is at least 51 percent unconditionally owned by one or more individuals who are both socially and economically disadvantaged, or a publicly owned business that has at least 51 percent of its stock unconditionally owned by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and that has its management and daily business controlled by one or more such individuals. This term also means a small business concern that is at least 51 percent unconditionally owned by an economically disadvantaged Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian Organization, or publicly owned business that has at least 51 percent of its stock unconditionally owned by one of these entities, that has its management and daily business controlled by members of an economically disadvantaged Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian Organization, and that meets the requirements of 13 CFR 124. Socially disadvantaged means individuals who have been subjected to racial or ethnic prejudice or cultural bias because of their identity as a member of a group without regard to their qualities as individuals. Economically disadvantaged means socially disadvantaged individuals whose ability to compete in the free enterprise system is impaired due to diminished opportunities to obtain capital and credit as compared to others in the same line of business who are not socially disadvantaged. Concern means any business entity organized for profit with a place of business located in the United States, including, but not limited to an individual, partnership, corporation, joint venture, association, or cooperative.
