The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supplies and supervision for the installatin of lightning protection for buildings A, B, C excluding new addition, D, E, F, J, H and the barn at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, Maryland. The work shall include installation of air terminals, drop wires, grounding rods, and connections at intermittent points. The price range for this job is between $25,000 and $100,000. The period of performance for this contract is approximately 100 calendar days. The Invitation for Bid will be available on or about 5/1/95 and the bid opening on or about 6/1/95. A site visit will be scheduled on or about 5/16/95. These dates are tentative and will be specified in the IFB package upon its release. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business under SIC 1799, the size standard is 100% set aside for small business under SIC 1799, the size standard for which a concern including its affiliates having an average sale or receipts for its preceding three fiscal years not in excsss of $7.0 million. There will be a $50.00 non-refundable fee payable by check or money order for the plans and specifications. Plans and specifications will be limited to one set per contractor. The contractor is responsible for reproducing additional sets. Checks or money orders must be made payable to the United States Fire Administration, make references to IFB #EME-95-B-0488 and must be submitted with two (2) copies of the letter of request.
