Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials and equipment required to replace air conditioning units, located at Launch CX-41, Cape Canaveral AS FL per Specification DBEH 95-2207 and Drawings PA 95-2207 for a complete and usable facility. Work consists of rebuilding the air handlers in the lower Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Room at the LC-41, and provide temperature and humidity monitoring at the SLC-41 air condition shelter. Install Government Furnish Equipment (GFE) air handler unit, replace AHU-159, adapt duct connection; install GFE chilled water coils in AHU-153, AHU-154, and AHU 156; install GFE inlet vane damper/actuator, replace the inlet vane damper for EF-151; install GFE duct heaters, replace heaters for AHU-155,156,159; install GFE control valves and new piping, provide and install new control cable; provide and install new electrical service to duct heaters and air handler; new HVAC control system provide and install compatible new controls for all AHU including new temperature and humidity sensors, GFE temperature and humidity sensors, GFE duct heater controllers and GFE chilled water control valves. Construction time is 50 days to include 10 nonaccess days, after Notice to Proceed. Bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 18 Jun 95. The applicable SIC code for this acquisition is 1711 and Small Business size standard is $7.0M. Estimated range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The proposed contract is being considered for a total Small Disadvantaged Business set-aside.
