The work includes providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision to modify existing air conditioning system for forty-eight housing units. The modified air conditioning system will consist of a new outdoor unit (condensing unit), an existing gas fired furnace section and a new DX cooling coil installed down stream of the existing gas fired furnace. Modify duct connection at supply air side as required to accommodate the DX coil. The outdoor unit shall be installed on a new concrete pad for every housing unit. Replace existing room thermostat for each housing unit with new thermostat, provide sheet metal covering for all refrigerant piping riser along the outside wall, install new 40 amps, 2 pole circuit breaker in existing load center in each housing unit, provide new wall mounted outdoor type disconnect switch at the condensing unit and incidental related work. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The requirement is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. The samll business size standard applicable to this contract is 1711 and the annual size standard is $7.0 million. Contract duration period is approximately 210 calendar days.
