Pre-Solicitation. Repair Aircraft Arresting System, at South Dakota Air National Guard, Joe Foss Field, Sioux Falls, SD. Provide all labor, equipment and material for the removal, replacement, and grinding of P.C.C. Pavement each side of the Aircraft Arrestor Cable Trough on Runway 3-21. This will be done to achieve a 1/8'' in 12' maximum vertical deflection of the concrete surface. Estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. This project must be accomplished during the time frame of 14 Sep 95 thru 4 Oct 95. Interested concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 15 calendar days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as the prime or as a subcontractor on this project, by providing evidence of capability to perform. Such evidence must include references for similar work, to include contract numbers, points of contact, and telephone numbers, and; if applicable, a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. In addition, the dollar amount of current construction bonding capability must be furnished. The Contracting Officer will use this information to determine if this solicitation will be set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) firms or issued on an ``unrestricted'' basis. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), or 8(a). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1611.
