PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The work consists of providing labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision for the exterior sandblasting and painting, cupola roof replacement, installation of a new entrance stairway ladder, rehabilitation of windows, doors and portholes, replacement of glazing, repairs to the dock facility, replacement of tension rods, repair of cracks in shell plating and repairs to the dwelling roof. The lighthouse is approximately 100' tall and has approximately 15,000 square feet of exterior surface area. The existing coating is known to contain high levels of lead and chromium. All repairs must be accomplished with due regard for the environment and the surrounding coral reef. The water depth around the structure is less than 5 feet.
