66 -- AM241 TYPE IRRADIATOR POC Point of Contact J. O. Lee, Contracting Officer, 208-526-1912 The U.S. Department of Energy, Idaho Operations Office, intends to purchase one computer controllable, irradiator system with Am-241 source. This purchase will be a 100% small business set-aside. The irradiator must be a stock item and the winning firm will have demonstrated technical performance and customer satisfaction in at least seven organizations where the specified system is presently being used. The irradiator must contain Am-241 as the source and be compatible with current safety and control systems in place. The system shall be delivered, installed, tested, and demonstrated by the winning vendor on a weekday within thirty days after award. All responsible sources must submit a written request for RFP package to Gary Johnson within 15 days of this announcement. See Note 1. (0115)
