Muse Walter reed Army Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Beckman Instruments for the acquisition of a Ultracentrifuge that must be capable of functioning as both an analytical and preparative Ultracentifuge. The analytical function shall determine the sedimentation coefficent of biological molecules. The preparative function shall perform isolation and purification of biological molecules. The solicitation will outline detailed minimum essential charactoristics. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered.
