87 -- FURNISH AND DELIVER A TOTAL OF 296,000 ONE YEAR OLD HARDWOOD SEEDLINGS Sol DACW38-95-B-0059. Due 061595. POC Contract Specialist, Sophia Clark, (601) 631-5812. Furnish and Deliver a total of 296,000 one year old hardwood container seedlings. Of the total, 62,160 hardwood container seedlings will be delivered to U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Grenada, MS. The remaining container seedlings will be loaded by the contractor onto Corps of Engineer carrier at the contractor's plant for delivery. The seedling root collars shall not exceed 3/8 inch in diameter, and no less than 1/4 inch in diameter. The maximum height from root collar to the terminal bud shall not exceed 24 inches, nor be less than 12 inches. Container seedlings must have a root plug with a diameter between 1 to 1.5 inches and a plug length between 3 to 6 inches. Seedlings supplied must have originated from seeds collected from trees that grew within a 150 miles radius of Yazoo County, Mississippi. Delivery shall be made FOB destination to U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Grenada, MS. Issue date is on or about 15 May 95. Bid Opening date on or about 15 Jun 95. See Note 1. (114)
