Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) on behalf of the U.S. Department of
Energy (DOE), anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for
support and assistance including meeting coordination, and
technical/program support for NREL's Building Energy Technology Program
(BET). This technical experise and support includes planning,
organizing, promoting and implementing workshops and or meetings;
technical support for international building energy technology
programs; computer software programming and development; quantitative
building energy design analysis and assistance including
inter-comparisons of building energy simulation tools; and monitoring
and evaluation of whole building performance using a variety of long
and short term test methods. Subject to the availability of funds, a
one year Task Ordering Agreement (TOA), in each of these five task
areas with the option for two more years, is anticipated. Each offeror
must provide the expertise and proven capablity to support and assist
NREL. Organizations desiring a copy of the solicitation setting forth
the RFP requirements should make a written request within 30 days of
this announcement to Kristin Bombeck at the above address, or via
facimile at (303) 275-3100, specifying the task area(s) of primary
interest to the offeror. A separate proposal will be required for each
