KAPL intends to place a two year contract with a takeout option for maintenance and move and change service for two existing ROLM CBXII 9000 telephone exchanges. Hardware maintenance includes remedial maintenance, preventive maintenance, installation of engineering changes originated by the original equipment manufacturer, software moves and other tasks associated with the Statement of Work. Move and change services include installation of station wiring from the instrument to a distribution frame, trouble shooting of instrument problems, maintenance of cable records and other tasks associated with the Statement of Work. Maintenance of the Public Address System Telephone Bridges and the Telephone Battery Plant are also included in the work scope. The Seller must possess a DOE security clearance and must be authorized by ROLM to install and modify ROLM provided software on the ROLM CBX 9000 telephone switches. The Seller must also have ROLM qualified maintenance technicians who can obtain full factory support, when necessary, in the performance of their work. (114)
