The proposed work includes furnishing all plant, labor, material, equipment and services necessary to replace the roofing membrane on building 385 at the Vermont Air National Guard Base, Burlington IAP, Vermont. Remove and dispose of roofing membrane and associated sheet metal, re-use existing ballast. Remove and replace damaged insulation. Install new roofing membrane, sheet metal and counter flashing. Paint sheet metal items to match existing. All in accordance with the plans and specifications. Standard Industrial Code is 1761; related small business size is $7.0 M. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. Completion date is 90 days after the acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days after the appearance of this notice, indicate interest in this acquisition by providing, in writing, the following: evidence of capability to perform, including name and telephone number of references on similar type projects performed in the past three years; a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern; and company's single project and aggregate bonding capability. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement pursuant to Public Law 102-366, ``Small Business Credit and Business Enhancement Act of 1992''.
