The work includes cutting a hole in the exsting metal roof deck and built-up roof to allow the installation of a new motorized, horizontally operating roof hatch which is approximately 18 feet square; lead paint removal; installation of new structural steel framing at the perimeter of the new opening for the support of the roof hatch; electrical work; and incidental related work. Estimated cost range: $100,000 to $250,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 09 May 1995. A limited number of plans and specifications will be available on a first-come first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. There is no charge for the first set of plans and specs; additional sets are $25 each; HOWEVER, EACH FIRM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING A BID PACKAGE.
