MK Ferguson Company (MK-F), is currently performing work under a Department of Energy Prime Contract at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) located in St. Charles, Missouri. Qualified sources are being sought for the supply of several types of process equipment to be used in the construction of a Chemical Stabilization/Solidification Plant (CSS). Interested qualified parties should have the ability to construct equipment in accordance with hard specifications and stringent quality control procedures. Following is a brief description of the general types of equipment anticipated to be required under these procurement actions: DREDGE: Require two barge mounted dredges equipped with cutter type heads capable of dredging a thixotropic sludge at the rate of 750 gpm. Dredges to be able to operate in as little as 2 feet and as much as 10 feet of water. Units to be equipped with remote positioning equipment for operation from remote location. Estimated value is over $200K (SIC 3531). It is anticipated that the proposal package for the above noted equipment will be issued for bid between May 1995 and January 1996. Only full proposals for the entire equipment package noted above will be solicited under this procurement. Abbreviated/pre-proposals will not be accepted. It is anticipated that the type of award for this package will be firm fixed price. Suppliers interested in the above noted equipment package shall submit a letter of request indicating the package description for the bid package requested. Since this is a set-aside for small business, letters of request shall also include a statement verifying that the organization is a small business concern.
