MK Ferguson Company (MK-F), is currently performing work under a Department of Energy Prime Contract at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) located in St. Charles, Missouri. Qualified sources are being sought for the supply of several types of process equipment to be used in the construction of a Chemical Stabilization/Solidification Plant (CSS). Interested qualified parties should have the ability to construct equipment in accordance with hard specifications and stringent quality control procedures. Following is a brief description of the general types of equipment anticipated to be required under this procurement actions: SELF-CLEANING SCREENS: Require two self cleaning screening systems of either bar type of vibrating type to remove plus one-quarter inch particles from a slurry stream. Flow rate of streams to be 705 gpm maximum at 101 to 20 percent solids. Percent oversize anticipated to be less than 5 percent of solids on a mass basis. Estimated value is over $36K (SIC 3531). It is anticipated that the proposal package for the above noted equipment will be issued for bid between May 1995 and January 1996. Only full proposals for the entire equipment package noted above will be solicited under this procurement. Abbreviated pre-proposals will not be accepted. It is anticipated that the tyhpe of award will be firm fixed price for this package. Suppliers interested in the above noted equipment package shall submit a letter of request indicating the package description for the bid requested. Since this is a set-aside for small business, letters of request shall also include a statement verifying that the organization is a small business concern.
