Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for 5 each spares
packages for the Sensis MSC-2000b Beacon False Target Limiter (BFTL)
from Sensis Corporation. Each spares package will include the following
parts: 1 each processor card (MVME147S), including EPROMs with stored
site-specific parameters, Sensis P/N 130-000015-G001/2; 1 each
universal I/O (UNIO) card, Sensis P/N 130-000013-G001; 1 each power
supply, Sensis P/N 115-000883-P001; 1 each EtherNet transceiver, Sensis
P/N 32G-000775-P001; 1 each internal cabling and connectors, Sensis P/N
150-001002-G001/2; and 1 each blower fan, Sensis P/N 560-000881-P002/3.
Required delivery 60 days after date of contract. The Standard
Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3812. These supplies are only
known to be manufactured by Sensis Corporation, DeWitt, NY, because the
items are proprietary and must be compatible with existing equipment.
These spares packages contain critical components for the Beacon False
Target Limiter (BFTL) which is part of the Air Traffic Control Beacon
Indicator. The Government does not have technical data, plans,
drawings, or specifications required for full and open competition.
Other concerns having the ability to furnish the above property are
required to provide written notification (including the name and
telephone number of a point of contact) to the procuring office listed
in this notice, with reference made to market survey file #36-002
within 45 calendar days from the date of this publication. Written
responses must provide information regarding the ability of your
concern to satisfy the Government's requirement. All responses to this
market survey will be considered prior to further acquisition action
by the Government. Any information received as a result of this
announcement will not be provided to other contractors and will
normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to
conduct a competitive procurement. The final determination by the
Government not to open this requirement to competition, based on any
information provided, is solely within the discretion of the
