70 -- BRAND NAME OR EQUAL APPLE PC COMPUTERS AND PERIPHERALS SOL N66604-95-R-B781 DUE 061495 POC Contact Jacqueline Feirouz, Contracting Officer at (401) 841- 2442 X294 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Detachment, New London intends to procure the following items on a Brand Name or Equal basis: three (3) Apple MacIntosh Power Mac 8100/110s (Part #M3561LL/A), four (4) 16MB Upgrades (Part #APP16-PWRMAC), two (2) Apple MacIntosh Power Mac 7100/80s, two (2) 8MB Upgrades(Part # APP8-PWRMAC 2), two (2) Apple 15'' Multiscan monitors(#M3089LL/A), three (3) NEC Multisyncs (Part #JC-1520VMA and JC-1743UMA), six (6) Ethernet Thin Coaxes(Part #M0329Z/B), six (6) Kensington turbo mice ADB 4.0, five (5) Apple adjustable keyboards (Part #M1242LL/A), four (4) NEC Multisync XE color monitors(Part #JC-1539VMA), two (2) Dell Pentiums PCs (Dell #590/XL), and five (5) Apple Geoports (Part #M3089LL/A). Computer systems with compatible architecture, interfaces, operating system and utilities is necessary. Therefore, the PCs must meet the following minimum salient characteristics. For the MacIntosh 8100/110 or equivalent: 110 MJz Power PC 601 RISC processor with integrated math coprocessor and 256K on-chip cache; minimum of 16 megabytes of RAM expandable to 256 or more; minimum of one 1.44 Mb floppy drive; minimum of 2.0 Gegabyte internal drive; minimum of two serial ports; a SCSI port that supports seven or more devices; and a built in display port. For the MacIntosh 7100/80 or equivalent: 80MHz PowerPC 601 RISC processor with integrated math coprocessor and 2256 on-chip cache; minimum of eight magabytes of RAM expandable to 136 or more; minimum of one 1.44 MB floppy drive; minimum of 700 MB internal drive; minimum of two serial ports; and a SCSI port that supports seven or more devices. Dell 590/XL Pentium PC or equivalents: 90MHz Intel processor with integrated math coprocessors and 256k on- chip Cache; minimum of 32 megabtyes of RAM expandable to 136 or more; minimum of 2 megabytes of VRAM; minimum of one 1.44 Mb Floppy Drive and a minimum of 528mb IDE hard drives.
