A -- PC BASED VIDEO DISTRIBUTION DATA ACQUISITION Contact Mr. Robert J. White. Lockheed Idaho Technologies Company (LITCO), a Management and Operating Contractor for the Department of Energy (DOE) at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL), is seeking firms interested in performing cooperative research with LITCO. LITCO has successfully integrated commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) items into a real time PC-based distributed video and data acquisition control system. The COTS items used in the integration are, but are not limited to: QNX, software product of QNX Software Systems Ltd., Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controller, video/audio switch by PESA America Inc., T-Bar, Meret Fiber Optic Equipment, Digiboard Serial Port Expansion devices, keypads, and touchscreens. Participants will be expected to provide funding and limited technical expertise to assist in expansion of the research and development program. It is expected the participant will also have the organizational structure to commercialize the resulting technology. This solicitation will close to response 30 days after publication.
