Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Procurement),
OASA(RD&A) is exploring the potential use of the World Wide Web (WWW)
for the procurement of commercially available supplies and equipment
which are within the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT). Businesses
which are currently offering their products for sale through the WWW
for this purpose or those planning to use the WWW within the next 12
months are requested to provide the following information. Please
format response with: (1) Name of Business, (2) Business Size (Large,
Small, Disadvantaged, etc.), (3) Uniform Resource Locator (URL); (4)
Categories of supplies and equipment offered; (5) Payment methods; and
(6) Comments. We are also soliciting ideas and comments from any
organization involved in electronic commerce that would like to comment
on the potential use of the WWW for these purposes. E-Mail responses
