Preventive and emergency maintenance for a total of 60 clinical and laboratory flow hoods located in 8 buildings in the Fitzsimons Army Medical Center complex. The hoods have several different manufacturers, including but not limited to NuAire, Abbott, Hamilton, and Labconco. Services shall consist of: 1) Four preventive maintenance inspections per year for an Enviromedic Laminar Flow System hood in Operating Room 4 of the main hospital building; 2) Two preventive maintenance inspections per year for all other flow hoods; and 3) Unscheduled routine maintenance and emergency maintenance as needed. Contract shall consist of a one year base period from August 1, 1995 through July 31, 1996 and three one year option periods. The Government plans to issue the solicitation as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. SIC Code is 7629 and size standard for a small business is $5 million or less average annual gross revenues. If the Government does not receive a sufficient number of responses from small business concerns, the acquisition will be issued on an unrestricted basis without any further Commerce Business Daily advertisements.
