The National Institute of Standards & Technology is requesting public comment on the design of the proposed Advanced Technology Laboratories for its Gaithersburg, Maryland and Boulder, Colorado sites. The design is currently 50 percent completed and solicitation documents for Gaithersburg are anticipated to be available in several months. These buildings will integrate concurrent stability in temperature, vibration, and electrical power to create the most environmentally stable laboratory in the world. Metric and Green Building Standards are incorporated in the design.
