The work includes the installation of galvanized steelpipe piling anchored into the underlying rock with post-tensioned anchors, construction of two reinforced concrete finger pier, a timber wave break mounted on the South finger pier, a safety platform at the head of the haulout pier, and all utilities.Estimated price range is $500,000 - $1,000,000. Duration of contract period is approximately 12 months. Plans and Specifications and/or Plan Holders List will be available approximately 15 May 1995 and must be ordered in writing. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms toapply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
