MK Ferguson Company (MK-F), is currently performing work under a Department of Energy Prime Contract at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) located in St. Charles, Missouri. Qualified sources are being sought for the supply of several types of process equipment to be used in the construction of a Chemical Stabilization/Solidification Plant (CSS). Interested qualified parties should have the ability to construct equipment in accordance with hard specifications and stringent quality control procedures. Following is a brief description of the general types of equipment anticipated to be required under these procurement actions: MODULE FABRICATION: It is desired to assemble client supplied equipment into transportable modules (estimate 5 ea.). These modules will be shop fabricated from supplied designs, tested and transported to the point of installation. Selected shop will procure all necessary bulk materials (including structural steel, plate, pipe, etc.) in line instrumentation, electrical components, and any other items specified in the order. Estimated value is over $300K. It is anticipated that the proposal package for the above noted equipment will be issued for bid between May 1995 and January 1996. Only full proposals for the entire equipment package noted above will be solicited under this procurement. Abbreviated pre-proposals will not be accepted. It is anticipated that the type of award will be firm fixed price for this package. Suppliers interested in the above noted equipment package shall submit a letter of request indicating the package description for the bid package requested. Since this is a set-aside for small business, letters of request shall also include a statement verifying that the organization is a small business concern.
