ft; Slurry Seal, Type II, 15,100 - sq. yd. Preparation of Surface,
15,100 - sq. yd; Pavement Markings, Type J, 12'' and 4'' Solid White,
Broken Yellow, 3,090 - lin. ft.; Barricade, Type III, 3-each, Cone,
Traffic, Minimum 28'' High, 20 each; Flagger, 30-Hour and Construction
Sign, 21 each. Work to be performed on the Quileute Indian
Reservation, Clallam County, Washington. Solicitation No. R95-5.
Project No. QUIR 201(3). Bid opening June 13, 1995 at 1:00 pm. Duration
of work 25 calendar days. Estimated cost range of project is
$25,000-$100,000. Section 7(b) of PL 93-638 (25 USC 450e) and DIAR
1452-204-71 requires that preference opportunities in employment and
training be given to Indian/Alaska Native individuals and that
preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaska
Native economic enterprises. Failure by the contractor to submit a plan
for doing so prior to award and implement same after award shall be
sufficient reason for non-award or termination of the contract for
default. An Indian/Alaska Native economic enterprise need only be 51
percent Indian/Alaska Native owned to qualify for subcontract
