16 -- PROCUREMENT OF THE ENGINE ANALYZER UNIT, E-2C AIRCRAFT. SOL N00019-94-C-0214 POC Contact, Rene Thompson, Phone (703)604-2119 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate with Ametek Aerospace Products Inc., Wilmington, MA for the Engine Analyzer Unit. The Government requires an Engine Analyzer Unit for the E-2C aircraft which monitors aviation gas turbine engine parameters. Ametek Aerospace Products Inc. possesses sole proprietary engineering data and technical skills and knowledge which will be required to manufacture the EAU. The government does not own the data rights. The Navy plans to procure four units in FY-95 with two options of four each for FY-96 and FY-97. Additionally, the following will be required: technical data, quality assurance, integrated logistics support (ILS) system safety, reliability and maintainability, configuration management, spare and repair parts and /or technical services.
