DTFA08-95-B-03264 POC Nancy Davis, (310)297-1581 The Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA), has a requirement to provide and install Radar
Video Compression/Decompression System (RVCS) equipment, ARCATA model
RVCS 2000 or equal. This equipment must accept Airport Surveillance
Radar (ASR-8) Trigger, Synchro Azimuth, Digital Azimuth, Azimuth Change
Pulse, Azimuth Reference Pulse, MT1 Video, and Normal Video outputs,
along with analog Mode-S Beacon Video. It must compress and encode
thest signals in a format compatible for transmission on one T1 data
circuit. It must decode and decompress the composite T1 data to
reconstitute the ASR-8 and analog Mode-S Beacon Video. It must be
compatible and interface with digital low density remote communications
link equipment. The units shall be made up of two (2) main assemblies,
a transmitter (encoder/compressor) and a receiver
(decoder/decompressor). Transmission and processing of the signals
between the transmitter and the receiver must not exceed 100
milliseconds. The azimuth signal inputs to the transmitter shall be
selectable between digital azimuth change pulse, digital azimuth
reference pulse, and analog synchro azimuth. In addition, provide spare
parts, installation and testing services, on-site, maintenance
training, and manuals. Invitation for Bid (IFB) DTFA08-95-B-03264 will
