OFF-THE-SHELF GENERAL PURPOSE COMPUTERS (PERSONAL COMPUTERS;

Officer, (301) 402-3066. The National Institutes of Health, DHHS has
a need to enter into a partnership agreement with one or more
organizations to setup a NIH Electronic Computer Store for the
acquisition of commercial off-the -shelf general purpose computers
(Personal Computers; Macintosh) and peripherals. An Indefinite
Quantity, Indefinite Delivery, Task Order Type contract with adjustable
price provisions is contemplated. The Government anticipates awarding
a contract for a twelve month base period with one option to extend the
period of performance for an additional twelve months. A Request For
Information (RFI) will be available for Industry Comment on May 1,
1995. Parties interested in providing comments are invited to attend a
presolication conference which will be held on May 8, 1995 9:00 a.m.,
local prevailing time, at the National Institutes of Health, Clinical
Center, Lipsett Auditorium, Building 10, 9000 Rockville Pike,
Bethesda, Maryland. Copies of the draft RFP will be available for
pickup on May 1, 1995 from Mr. Manny Devera, Office of Information
Resources Management, 6100 Executive Blvd. Room 2B03, Rockville,
Maryland. Parties interested in providing written will have
approximately two weeks to provide their comments on the draft
solicitation document. The Government will not formally respond to
vendor's written comments or questions, however, the Government will
consider incorporating the comments into any revisions to the
solicitation document. Sources interested in responding to this Request
For Information or receiving a copy of the draft solicitation document
by mail should submit a written request to the Contracting
Officer/Contract Specialist specified above. Oral requests will not be
honored. Sources responding to this notice shall indicate whether they
are a Large, Small, Disadvantaged, or Woman Owned organization. For
this synopsis a business concern is considered small if the number of
employees does not exceed 1,000. Note: This is a draft solicitation
document and a Request For Information Only. This acquisition will be
conducted under the requlatory delegation of GSA's exclusive
procurement authority for FIP Resources. The specific Delegation of
Procurement Authority (DPA) has not been obtained prior to this
