For ''Subscriber Service'' Software, NXTOIA Single port TX, 9600 bps uplink. DTMF 01-Broadcast Sequences and Single Port TX Installation. It is reported that Dataradio Inc. Is the only supplier of the Dataradio Digital Weather Broadcast System which is designed for high speed transmission of digital data over VHF radio. This system uses packet radio technology, combined with radio modem data techniques to transmit text and simple graphics over standard NOAA Weather radio frequencies. The system has been tested at a Western Region forecast office to determine its feasibility as a dissemination tool of printed weather information to the hearing impaired. Delivery is requested by July 10, 1995. All responsible sources who believe they are capable of completing the required repairs must submit a statement of capabilities to the Procurement Office not later than 15 days from the date of publication of this announcement.
