The (FY-95) SOF Aircraft Parking Apron will consist of approximately 100,000 SY of parking and taxi areas. It shall be constructed to provide parking, loading, unloading, servicing, fueling and taxiways for aircraft of the 1st Special Operations Wing. The project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide pavement, tie-downs, grounding, drainage, area lighting, fire hydrants, security lines and related pavement markings. The project is to be located North of the Simulator Facility, Building 91039, to the East of the project site two FY-94 projects (MH-60 Hangar and MH-60 Squadron Operations) will be built. To the West of the project site is the existing runway, aprons, and taxiways. This project contains Optional Items for additional work. Critical Path Method (Network Analysis System) is required. Bid documents are available on or about 09 May 1995. Costs are as follows: Plans half size $13.00. Specifications $35.00. Estimated cost of work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
