Z -- UPGRADE UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS SOL F48608-95-B0016 due 070695. Contact Mark Clapp, 307-775-2635, Contract Specialist. Work includes, but is not limited to, excavate and expose TK-101 fuel storage tanks at missile launch facilities, remove and dispose of PCB contaminated fill, vent, supply and return piping, clean modify TK-101 for new piping, provide new doublewalled replacement piping, modify manway access, rebury tank, install protective concrete pad, and provide temporary fuel during work. Performance period for resultant firm fixed price construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be 760 calendar days (includes winter exclusion period of 1 Dec to 30 Apr). Invitation for Bid (IFB) is limited and will be furnished to the requestor on a first received, first served basis until supply is exhausted. Telephone requests will not be honored. The issue date will be on or about 06 Jun 1995 with bid opening date 30 days after issuance. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but not later than 16 May 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific informationwhich demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice.
