VIDEO TELECONFERENCING NETWORK SOL CO-6961-VTC. Contact Point: Alexis
Kemper 202/482-1512. NACISA is requesting nominations from certified
firms to bid for the provision of a Video Teleconferencing Network
covering four NATO establishments. The scope of project work covers the
provisioning, installation, and testing of a network of VTC terminals
with associated PTT Basic Rate Terminal Adapters, equipped for
line-termination interfacing to ISDN and to dedicated circuits on NATO
satellite and terrestrial transmission media. Provision and
installation of Fibre Optic connections between the VTC Terminals and
the Transmission facilities at each site forms part of the scope of the
project. The VTC facilities shall be compatible with the ITU-T
standards. Each VTC terminal will include large monitors, adjustable
camera, interfaces for FAX, PC and for documentation transmission
purposes, an auxiliary document camera. Firms must possess a facility
security clearance of NATO Secret level for performance of this
contract. IFB to be released in March 1995 with a closing date for bid
submission of June 1995. All applicants must be certified to compete
in NATO ICB by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of
