70 -- SOFTWARE AND SOFTWARE SUPPORT SOL 50-YABC-5-66014 POC Carol Kukich, 301-457-1808 The Bureau of the Census (BOC) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with TGV, Inc. of Santa Cruz, CA for the acquisition of computer software and support to augment BOC's existing software system. The following software products are included in this requirement: 1) MultiNet License for 2 VAX 9410s, 2) MultiNet License for 1 VAX 7620, 3) MultiNet License for 2 VAX 7610s, 4) MultiNet License for 2 VAX 6610s, 5) MultiNet License for 1 VAX 4600, 6) MultiNet License for 10 VAX 3500s, and 7) MultiNet License for 15 VAXstations. BOC requires the software products and software support for a base period of one year with the option to extend the term of the contract for four one-year periods. This is not a notice of issuance of a formal solicitation, however, interested concerns may submit a capabilities statement furnishing sufficient technical information which demonstrates its' ability to meet this requirement. This information will be considered only if clear and convincing evidence, including technical and pricing data is provided, that interested concerns can meet the requirements of the Government and that it is advantageous for the Government to consider such concerns.
