handling plant C) cellars assumed that fermentation and maturation will
be a 14 day process in a combination unitank assumed that 3 brews will
be processed in a single 300 hl unitank 36 (brews/week) X 14 (days
process time) over 3 (brews/vessel) X 0 9 (vessel occupancy) X 7
(days/week equals 26 X 300 hl univessels. The vessel size and
configuration requires further investigation the vessel will be glycol
cooled vessels will be insulated, supported on a concrete slab, with
the cones extending through the slab to a General open area vessel TOPS
and fittings will be accessed via inter-connecting walkways the process
piping will be a combination of fixed valve/piping hoses D) filtration
will be a kieselguhr plate and frame filter operating at 100 hl/hour
it has been assumed that there will be 2 X 8 hour packing shifts
working 6 days a week, therefore filtration will have to operate 2 X 8
hour shifts 6 days/week it is assumed that the mature beer will leave
the unitank at 1 degree centigrade and no in line chilling prior to
filter is required the plant will include kieselguhr dosing stabilizer
dosing E) cleaning in place (cip) 2 separate none-recovery plants will

week 340 ml metal can will be used minimum packaging throughout will be
12000 cans/hour assumed that empty cans will be delivered, off- loaded
and stored on pallets when required cans will be de-pelletized by a
de- palletiser thereafter they will be fed onto a can rope conveyor for
the delivery to the filler prior to the filler, the cans will be
rinsed, and inverted to remove residual rinse water cans are then fed
into the filler, filled, fobbed and immediately seamed on exiting the
filler on exiting the seamer, the cans will be on stainless steel slat
conveyors feeding the cans into pasteurizer in-route to the
pasteurizer there will be an empty can inspector and rejector in the
pasteurizer the product will be pasteurized to the required levels and
again on exiting the pasteurizer will be on stainless steel slat
conveyors delivering the cans to the cluster pack or shrink film
machine the cluster pack or shrink film machine, will combine/hold six
cans in a pack thereafter the combined 6 packs are fed into a machine
that forms the cardboard trays, and packs four six packs into the tray
each tray therefore has 24 X 340 ml cans on exiting the tray former,
the trays are transported on roller conveyors to a palletising station
where these will be manually pallet stacked when a pallet is stacked,
the loaded pallet will be removed by a forklift to the storage area
the equipment supplied will also include for a can date coder, a reject
can crusher, and destroyed can collection the can lids will be manually
loaded into the seamer storage magazine the conveyoring system will be
designed to optimize pasteurizer performance and heat lad balance this
will be achieved by in-line accommodation all electrical control panels
