C -- EVALUATE, DESIGN, & FABRICATE RF-PIT TAG SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS SOL 52ABNF-5-00121 DUE 051995 POC For further information, call Contract Specialist Karen Bruce at 206-526-6370 NOAA intends to negotiate for technical services to perform unbiased evaluation of the various manufactured implantable Radio Frequency Passive Integrated Transponder (RF PIT Tag) fish identification tagging systems and design and fabrication of prototype RF PIT tag system for use in fisheries management. The Government believes only Mr. Whitney Patten has the technical qualifications, education, and experience necessary to perform this effort. Interested potential offerors must submit written documentation confirming receipt of an Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited university and demonstrated experience in the (1) design, evaluation and construction of RF antennas, filters and related amplifiers, (2) design and testing of passive integrated transponder systems, and (3) measurement of RF equipment to determine compliance with FCC and/or NTIA regulations. Mere indication of interest is not sufficient and will not receive consideration. To insure unbiased results of the evaluation phase of this project, only offerors with no affiliation with current RF PIT tag manufactures will be considered. Only written and telefaxed request/responses received within 15 days of publication of this notice of intent will be considered. Telephone requests will not be accepted. The period of performance is anticipated to be one year from date of contract award.
