This overhaul/repair shall be accomplished in accordance with the provisions of the Statement of Work included in the solicitation and in accordance with the applicable technical orders listed in that Statement of Work. A Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract is contemplated for one year, plus two one-year options. The low speed Vane & Shrouds (Stages 5 - 8) are manufactured in halves and are approximately 30.250 inches OD X 19.400 inches ID X 4.017 inches thick. Material is AMS 4125 aluminum. The high speed Vane & Shrouds (Stages 10 - 15) are approximately 27.745 inches OD X 19.333 inches ID X 2.643 inches thick. Material is AMS 5504 and AMS 5613 corrosion and heat resistant steel. Vane & Shroud feature inner and outer shrouds connected by equally spaced vanes. The function of these items is to direct compressed air at the proper angle to compressor blades. These items will be repaired IAW the Statement of Work included in the solicitation and IAW Tech order series 2J-TF33-53. The repair briefly consists of stripping the coating, removal of air seal, possible vane replacement and welding of outer shroud, recoating and reinstallation of the air seal. There is no Government Furnished Tooling. Deliveries are to Tinker AFB OK-- Solicitation will be issued to the sources which are qualified IAW AFLCR 66-31 entitled ''Repair of Aircraft Critical Engine Parts''.
