The 55th Wing/OLGS requires custodial services for Bldg 1217, Kittyhawk Center, WPAFB OH. The facility (approximately 17,000 square feet) is comprised of lodging quarters for which general cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and linen exchange services are required. The requirement is characterized by a continuous minimal level of services, with frequent short-term periods of surge effort required. Contract start date is anticipated for 01 Oct 95. Performance of these custodial services requires contractor to possess a facility security clearance at the classification level of secret. A favorable national agency check (NAC) investigation must be obtained for all contractor employees requiring access to the Government work area. This acquisition has been designated as a 100% set-aside for small business under the applicable standard industry classification (SIC) code: 7349. Businesses whose gross annual receipts for the previous three years (including affiliates) average $12.0M or less are considered small business, and as such may submit offers. The Government anticipates issuing the invitation for sealed bids approximately 19 May 95. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition.
