U -- EDUCATION AND TRAINING SERVICES SOL DMA800-95-R-8096 DUE 070195 POC Contact: Lynn Martin/703/285-9198/ Contracting Officer: Morris Solomon/703/285-9146 The Defense Mapping Agency (DMA) has a requirement for a contractor to develop a research plan based upon knowledge of the DMA organization and culture, DMA customers, the Department of Defense, and the National Performance Review initiatives in order to support DMA in its re-engineering efforts and cultural transformation from a traditionally hierarchical organization to a streamlined learning organization. The contractor will be required to design and develop apporopriate models for the transformation of DMA to a learning organization and to implement both workshops and seminars, based upon this model, for DMA Executive Board and other DMA employees. Instruments of measurement shall be developed and implemented which assess organizational and cultural changes, as well as return on investment. It is anticipated that a time-and-material contract will be awarded with a base and four option years. Top secret security clearance will be required for contract performance.
