58 -- CELLULAR CALL BOX TELEPHONES POC Rita Carter tel: (410) 965-8789 The Social Security Administration is seeking sources capable of providing Cellular Call Box Telephones for emergency use at the Headquarters Complex in Woodlawn, Maryland. This requirement will provide for the furnishing, installation, testing, training and placing in service, including air-time, for approximately 38 state-of-the art cellular call box telephones. The following features must be included in the Emergency Cellular Call Box Telephone procurement: (1) A minimum one-year warranty on parts and labor; (2) The telephones will operate twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week; and (3) The telephones will be solar powered, wireless units and shall engage in self diagnostics to send realtime maintenance alarms for malfunctions, tampering or knowkdowns back to a central maintenance personal computer (PC). Respondents should refer to Cellular Call Box Telephones. No cost or pricing data is required or requested. This is not a request for proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for the information solicited or received. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the source data received, but sources deemed qualified will be solicited when the request for proposal is issued.
