70 -- 70-TIME RELATED INSTRUCTIONAL MANAGEMENT (TRIM) SYSTEM UPGRADE SOL F41691-95-R0035 POC FRANK MELCHIONE tel: 210/652-5117 12CONS/LGCX, Randolph AFB, TX intneds to procure the following Brand Name Specific Make or Model equipment: Seven (7) Data General (DG) MV9500 Minicomputer system board with 32 MB RAM; seven(7) DG compatible LAN cards with software (TCP/IP); thirteen (13) DG compatible 1.0 GB SCSI hard drives; seven (7) DG compatible 5.0 GB 8mm SCSI tape drive backup units; seven (7) DG compatible SCSI II controller cards; and six (6) Standard UPS with 30 minute lapse w/o power. All components must be housed in the current MV 8000 chassis, at six (6) different AETC locations, and continue to run the current AOS/VS and INFOS II databases structure running under AOS COBAL. Existing MV 8000 Power supply must be converted from 3-phase to single phase AC power. Installation and startup costs must be included with offers and external SCSI connections will be provided for future expansion. Contract performance period will be for a basic year plus one (1) option year.
