The National Air Intelligence Center (NAIC), Directorate of Data Exploitation Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is contemplating a five year, single-award contract to provide a quick reaction capability in the design, fabrication, modification, and integration of electronic, electro-optical, and electromechanical devices and/or systems used for the processing and analysis of intelligence data . This requirement was advertised in the 23 Jan 95 edition of the CBD as a sources sought synopsis. This notice is the presolicitation notice for this acquisition. The formal RFP will be released approximately 15 days after publication of this announcement. Offerors will then have 30 days in which to respond to the RFP. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential Offerors, when an Offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concerns during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. Potential Offerors should use established channels to request information, pose questions, and voice concerns before resorting to use the Ombudsman.
