This acquisition is for the organization and conduct of a research program directed to improve the understanding of the effects of material failure on the characteristics of low velocity impact on composite sandwich plates using the finite element technique and the generation of a report documenting subject research for the Air Force Institute of Technology. The proposed procurement is under a 100% small business set aside, the size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates, having an average annual sales or receipts for its preceding three fiscal years not in excess of $5,000,000.
