CALL FOR PAPERS: JOB FAMILY TUTORS The Human Systems Center (HSC) is currently working several tutor devlopment efforts designed to increase performance on complex cognitive tasks such as aircraft maintenance. Recently, HSC has undertaken an initiative to develop a multi-application or job family tutor; this tutor is intended to teach across a collection or family of similar domains. Consequently, the Human Systems Program Office (HSC/YA) is calling for papers on Job Family Tutors, and invites industry to provide their experiences in previous or on-going efforts to develop multi-application intelligent tutors. A white paper outlining HSC's goals for this multi-application tutor is available to interested parties upon request. Papers should cover the following topics: Intelligent Tutoring, generalized intelligent tutors, or generalized training approaches which foster accelerated learning.
