This Modification is issued to clarify the services required, in response to queries by potential offerors. USAID/Jordan invites U.S. firms in the fields of water, wastewater, environment and urban planning to submit technical and financial proposals for the preparation of a master plan, feasibility study, and design for the rehabilitation expansion and development of the existing wastewater systems of the municipalities and communities in the watershed of the Amman - Zarqa River Basin. This watershed serves a population of approximately 1.8 million people. This contract will be conducted based on performance based contracting procedures. Participation of Gray Amendment entities is encouraged to the fullest extent. A minimum of 10% of this contract must be subcontracted to a Gray Amendment entity(ies), unless the offeror selected for award qualifies as a Gray Amendment entity. In order for the RFP to be posted on Internet, the following language is hereby added: This CBD notice can be viewed and downloaded using the Agency Gopher.
