C -- TV MARTI UHF AEROSTAT BROADCASTING SYSTEM POC Herman Shaw, Contract Specialist; 202-205-8412 C - The U.S. Information Agecny (USIA), Office of Cuba Broadcasting (OCB) has a requirement, subject to Congressional funding limit of $1.2 million, for a Contractor to provide turnkey design, build and operational services for the development, system design, integration, fabrication, assembly and operational testing of an aerostat based UHF television system for TV Marti broadcasting to Havana, Cuba. The work requires the Contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, facilities and services necessary to design, integrate, manufacture, test and conduct an operational test of an aerostat based UHF television broadcasting system. The scope of work requires a detailed system design, all documentation and drawings, practical schedule and implementation to meet the mission requirements. Delivery is required as soon as possible. Early delivery will be an evaluation factor. Bonus for early delivery may be negotiated. Project may entail access to classified information and Contractor may be required to obtain necessary security clearance for assigned personnel.
