The Contracting Flight Logistics Squadron intends to procure through a sole source lease with AT&T Information Systems a Dimension 2000 Electronic Switching System that provides 900 switched dial lines network access to Analog Direct In-dial (DID), Direct Out-dial (DOD), and Two-way trunk groups and administrative operator assistance. System includes Peripheral Call Management equipment consisting of Customer Administration panel, Radio Pager interface, Recorded announcements, Attendant conference arrangement, Line/Port Carrier interface, Touch-tone Receivers and Senders, Autovon (DSN) interface, and an auxiliary power battery back-up system. Lease will cover operations and maintenance of all equipment and services. This acquisition is being conducted under the regulatory delegation of GSA's exclusive procurement authority for Federal Information Processing (FIP) resources and the contract duration will be approximately from 30 Jun 95 through 31 Dec 96. The specific GSA DPA case number is KAA-95-AD001. This sole source acquisition is justified under 10 USC 2304 (c) (1). The Government intends to issue a Communication Service Authorization (CSA) for Bergstrom ARB TX.
