Abadie, (202)690-7506 The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) has a requirement that is one component of a multi- research plan evaluating the impact of managed care on disabled populations. The work of this acquisition is divided into two major purposes. The first involves tasks and activities related to a study of the experiences of disabled persons in managed health care plans covered through employer based health insurance, while the second involves synthesizing the results of all projects in the ASPE research plan on managed care and disability and other relevant research in order to assess their implications for policy development. The basic period of performance for the resulting contract will be for three years with an option for phase II for an additional two years.
